E606 ....

E606....
Its neither a chipset number nor a processor number. Its house number. House in E block, sixth floor. My house number, located on bank of Valley forge park. Highway 422 bisects our apartment and the park. We are blessed with nice green view and gentle breeze. Its wonderful feeling to sit on veranda with mug of hot coffe during winter and chill tin during summer. Apartment complex is located at nice cool place with full of trees and apartment had tennis courts, pool and gym which we hardly use :-)
On the journey to our home you would across the "Lift" which is antic piece . "Kya Lifta hai yarroon ekdam jhakas hai " Dost loga bolate hai... It makes you physically feel that you moving up. Wonderful long journey from ground to sixth floor.
As soon as you enter the home you will feel the anokha odor of E606...you gotta feel it no words to explain:-) Home is very well maintained. You know when bachelor says "house is well maitained", what exactly he means.....

For the want of a better description, I'd say that 'E606' makes you "Feel at home". Cuz all the roommates have been so cool that any guest (be it anybodies friend or new colleague of IDCC or new consultant from wipro or relatives of any of friends) immediately feels very much comfortable. So much so comfortable that they start cooking at E606.
"Bhaaii hum apane guest ko guest nahi balki gharwaale samjate hai ...isiliye unse khana banawaate hai:-)

I had roommates who were pretty good at cooking their own special stuff. Guru's dal, Mohan's pulivagare, Rohan's Bhel, Amith's pakode, Bhavin's pulaav, Harish's chicken curry, Sudhy's rasam, manju's avalakki, Dibya's egg curry etc were amazing. E606 has unique culture of preparing food/tea/snacks. It's basically playing some games to decide who is going to cook or who is going to wash the dishes. We used play chess or carom or putt (golf) in home. Whoever looses had to prepare tea/food/pakoda. Sometimes we had played poker to decide whose turn is it to cook.

"Dal Chawal" is the main food of E606. Because of this food habit combined with other habits each one of has developed "One Pack tummy". This "One Pack Tummy" is product of sheer hard work and dedication :-) We have been playing tennis, cricket, golf and gym too but all that neither increased our packs nor decreased our weights.

I have spent some unforgettable moments which i would cherish through out my life. Moments when CSR was here, Birthday party moments, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa moments, long late nite send off parties for my buddies, fun full Carom games and putting, "The angrez" moments, Raju Srivatsav's moments, Tough Wipro assignement moments for band change, memorable days when Dibs was here etc are unforgettable. I miss my bangalore buddies Harsh,Sid,Chonch and Sachay very much. With them it would have complete fun.

Off late E606 and friends associated with it have developed a new slang after watching "The angrez" and GILC's Raju Srivatsav.

Recently we got some new roommates. They are plenty in number. They started from few and have grown in numbers. They always singing n flying all over E606 and enjoying the "homely environment". Everyday we come from office in the evening they welcome us. Whenever we try to throw them out, it has been unsuccessful effort.
"Hum honge kaamiyaab, hum honge kaamiyaab, hum honge kaamiyaab ek din"......Pata nahi Kab aayega wo Ek din

But as of now we with our new roomate singing " Hum sab saath saath hai ...." together while waiting for wo Ek din :-)

People who have stayed here at E606, i am sure, they will have special cherishing moments associated with it. It holds special place in every one of our hearts ....
